Document Management for a Metallurgical Holding: How Software Simplified the Process of Responsible Storage

As part of the ongoing Digital Transformation program of the manufacturing holding, there was a need to automate the document flow between the responsible storage warehouses for metal products and the trading company.

The software eliminates errors in creating acceptance acts for stored products and acts of redemption for products from storage warehouses, as well as automates the process of uploading acts into SAP. The application has been developed in two formats: a web application and a PWA mobile application.

Results:

As part of the project, a service was developed to facilitate and accelerate the process of responsible storage. Thanks to the system, interaction among all links has significantly improved.

Errors due to the lack of structured data have been eliminated. The process of documentation generation has been automated, leading to a significant reduction in inaccuracies. Additionally, with the use of PWA technology, the demand for this solution has increased several times.
